Lie-Nielsen Cross Peen Hammer, 4 oz.

Small hammers are not only great for tacks, brads, etc., but also for making fine blade adjustments on your planes. The 4oz. brass or hardened A-2 steel(Rc 55) head is mounting to a fine cherry handle.

The flat pane (or "peen") opposite the face is used for setting narrow dovetail pins and other slender parts.
