Lie-Nielsen Iron Miter Plane The Lie Nielsen Iron Miter Plane is a beauty. A miter plane is made to lie on its side as it slides along a shooting board, trimming ends cleanly at any miter angle (or square). The side knob up front mounts on either side of the plane, which allows right- or left-handed shooting board work. The 2" iron is bedded at 20°. Lie Nielsen's construction is cast ductile iron, with a bronze lever cap and cherry knobs. Sole is 10-3/4" long. Weighs 4-1/2 lbs.
