Detailed Description
With its 14" long cast iron body and heavy 2" wide by 3/16" thick iron bedded (bevel up) at just 12°, this plane's low cutting angle (~37°) lets it cut smoother than any other plane, especially on end grain. An adjustable sole plate allows fine-tuning the throat opening to nearly eliminate tearout when planing surface grain. Bronze cap iron & cherry handles complete the package.
