Building a box with shelves is pretty straightforward if you know a few simple procedures and have access to a few inexpensive tools. In one class you can learn to design and build bookcases and other large pieces. This seminar will present all the concepts you need, including precise methods for utilizing lumber, rip-cutting, making precise repeat crosscuts and assembling the case.
This hands-on workshop begins with a demonstration of the building of one case and then class members will work in teams to assemble their own cases. At the end of the day you can take home a large bookcase for your own use. Tuition includes all materials.
CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY
Highland Woodworking reserves the right to cancel any class. Full refunds will be issued in that event. Students withdrawing from a class must notify Highland Hardware 10 or more days prior to the beginning of the class to receive full credit or refund. No refund or credit will be issued with less than 10 days' notice.
