John Bogdanovich is a world renown luthier and is also the author of the popular book "Classical Guitar Making: A Modern Approach to a Traditional Design". Mr. Bogdanovich has been building mostly concert classical guitars for performers and players all over the world for the last 15 years. The book is regarded in the guitar building world as one of the best books ever written on the subject.

In response to his readers, John has produced a DVD series on guitar building. This 10 DVD series demonstrates the construction of a concert classical guitar from beginning to end. This video series is the first of its kind on classical guitar making. The guitar design used in this dvd series features an open lower transverse brace on the soundboard, designed to expand the area of the top directly involved in sound production and to improve the treble response of the instrument.
