Makita RD1101 D-Handle VS Router

Makita's latest routers define a new state of the state of the art in motor design. They're the quietest, smoothest-running midsize routers on the market, rated at just 81 dB at full speed. Soft start variable speed runs bits from 8,000 to 24,000 RPM, and 11-amp motors provide power for hand-held or table-mounted work with all but the biggest bits. 1/4" & 1/2" collets are standard. Sub-bases accept universal template guides, and can be adjusted for perfect concentricity. Flat-top design lets either model stand stably on its head during bit change. RD1101 D-handle model weighs 7.9 lbs; RF1101 standard model weighs just 7.1 lbs. These commercial quality routers are manufactured by Makita USA in Buford, Georgia.
