The elastic "give" of cured varnish can withstand dull impacts and seasonal wood movement better than a standard polyurethane finish, whcih is more apt to crack allowing water to seep behind the finish. UV absorbers help shield the wood from sun damage. Great for exterior wood doors.Clean up with mineral spirits. One gallon covers 300-400 square feet.
