Miter Vise

The miter vise has long been a must-have for picture framers, and this is the first affordable imported version we've found with the quality and weight to make the grade. Massive cast-iron body and jaws are coupled with steel screws for secure holding even during trimming and nailing; and large aluminum knobs allow speedy adjustment. The body of the vise can be rotated horizontally, and will pivot from horizontal to vertical when you release a lock on the base. It even has a saw kerf space where the jaws meet (filled with a replaceable wooden liner) to allow trimming miters with a saw while workpieces are clamped in place. The vise has 4" jaw openings. Designed to be screwed in place on a workbench (screws not included). 13 lbs.
