Detailed Description
Ox-Head Inshave Drawknives are used primarily for rough shaping of green wood, such as in the making of chair parts or tool handles. They are also quite efficient for removing bark from logs to be sawn into planks. Drawknives are customarily used at the shaving horse, but may also be used with the workpiece clamped in a large vise.
This is a specialized drawknife for hollowing out areas in bowls, chair seats, etc. Cutting edge is 8". Fine German steel blade. Honing required before use. Notice to residents of California: Click here to view Proposition 65 warning
