The makers of our extremely popular small European Workbench from the Czech Republic have created a large, more robust workbench for the larger woodshop. It comes complete with two Quick-Action vises. Crafted from solid beech, the Large Premium European Workbench has a top that measures 72-1/2" x 24" (overall length with end vise is 78"). This bench has a traditional style tool tray along the rear edge that provides quick storage for hand tools when you need to clear off the top in a hurry. The benchtop height is 34".

With a top thickness of 2" and a weight of 198 lbs., this bench offers a stable work surface for your demanding projects. Two double-guide-rod shoulder vises, one mounted on the left front and one on the right end, are drilled to accept 3/4" round bench dogs. Bench dog holes along the front & rear edges and across the bench's width at the front vise, give an array of material holding options. Note: this bench comes WITHOUT dogs. We offer a number of different dogs that are compatible with this bench (Listed under Related Products below).

Some light assembly is required, including gluing up the leg assemblies & drawer, bolting on vises and the stretchers to the legs and the top to the base. An interesting feature of this workbench is that it can easily be assembled with the vise placement optimized for either righthanded or lefthanded use.

The bench comes without a finish, so you can apply the finish of your choosing.
