Quik Crank Bandsaw Tensioner

It's a well-known fact that not one single bandsaw owner has ever been positively disposed toward the inadequate little blade tensioning knob that comes standard on most small-shop bandsaws. It's slow, it's awkward, it's excruciatingly tedious, it makes you crazy. You'd rather use the wrong blade than spend forever installing the right one. You never release the tension at the end of a day's work, because you might not come back if you knew you had to start the next day fiddling with that awful little knob.

The Quik-Crank Bandsaw Tensioner will improve your outlook almost instantly. It's so much faster and easier it's like a little miracle happening right on your bandsaw. Unscrew the factory tension rod (for the last time!), thread in a Quick-Crank and brace yourself for results.

It takes five seconds to tension a blade, and about four to release it. For the first time in your life, you'll ease the tension at the end of every day's work, and when you crank it back up you'll have non-thumping tires that haven't been squashed flat and a blade that hasn't been stretched and fatigued during the majority of its life when it's not in use.

The Quik-Crank fits many 14" woodworking bandsaws models. A 3/8"-16 square nut is provided to replace the metric nut in some saws.
