Rikon 12" Variable Speed Mini-Lathe 70-050VS
This Rikon variable-speed mini-lathe has an impressive 12" swing and 16" between centers.
The 1" x 8 TPI threaded drive spindle is powered by a 1/2HP 6.6 amp DC motor. The RPM is easily
adjusted within each of 3 variable speed ranges (300-700rpm, 700-1500rpm, and 1500-3350rpm) simply by
turning a knob. You select which of the 3 speed ranges you want by choosing the belt/pulley position.
Weighs 72 lb.
Comes standard with a 4-prong drive center, 4" tool rest, live tail center and 3" faceplate.
30" long x 17" high. FIVE-YEAR manufacturer's warranty.
The lathe can be expanded to 40" spindle capacity by adding the 24" bed extension offered below.
