Detailed Description
Supersizing the mini-lathe concept, Rikon has created a lathe with an impressive 12" swing and 16" between centers. You can further increase the bed length in 24" multiples with the optional bed extension. The 1" x 8 TPI threaded drive spindle is powered by a 1/2HP 6.6 amp motor and a 6-step pulley for speed changes from 430 RPM-3900 RPM. The step pulley is smartly located outboard of the headstock allowing quick belt replacement without removing the spindle assembly. 12-position indexed headstock and tailstock have a #2MT enabling the use of the most common accessories. A convenient handle is helpful when moving the 89lb. mini-lathe.
Comes standard with a 4-prong drive center, 8" tool rest, live tail center, 3" faceplate and knock out bar. 32" long x 19" high. 2 yr. warranty.
