The Satinwood Open Bowl Plan will provide instruction for creating a beautifully turned contemporary bowl. The Bowl Kit plan includes a color reproduction, descriptive instructions, detailed drawings and a scaled template for turning. Stave and segment constructions are explored using veneer and segment elements as design features. The turner can modify the random segment placing to create different and interesting alternating and spiraling patterns. Finished bowl will be 4.5 inches in diameter and 6.5 inches tall. Skill level required for this project is intermediate.
