The Seedpot Bowl Plan will assist you in turning a beautiful Southwestern style Seedpot Bowl. Based on a traditional Native American form, you will explore the process of using compound laminations and the techniques involved using solid-block and slant-line segments in creating this bowl. The swirling design uses a reversing angled segment technique that is cut on a curve, which produces the swirling effect. The plan includes a color reproduction, instructions, detailed drawings and a scaled template for turning. Skill level is rated as moderate. Finished bowl measures 8 inches in diameter and 5 inches tall.
