Self-Centering Plug Cutter, Set/3

Regular plug cutters require a drill press for safe use, which is a real problem if you're on the job or don't have one. These plug cutters feature a retractable, spring-loaded center-pin so you can use them with a handheld drill. The center-pin keeps the cutters from skating across the board. They produce tapered plugs for a snug fit. You can pry the plugs out of the board with a flat tipped screwdriver or resaw the board so the plugs fall out on the waste side. The 1/4" hex shanks won't slip in cordless chucks and are compatible with most quick connect couplers. Our 12-volt cordless drill gave us clean holes even in burn-prone cherry.

The set includes 5/16", 3/8" and 7/16" sized plug cutters. Nicely machined and made in the U.S.A.
