Shellawax, a blend of shellac and wax, is a simple friction polish, made for use on the wood lathe. It is fast and easy to use, resulting in a brilliant shine on most woods. It is used with the lathe running and dries from the friction on application. Your workpiece can be handled immediately, but the finish hardens to a more durable finish after several days.

Shellawax Cream dries more slowly than it's liquid cousin. This makes it easier to achieve a smooth finish on larger turnings.
