Small Traditional Bench Hold Down This traditional cast iron hold down provides a fast, effective way to control stock on the bench top for carving, sanding, routing, or any chore where quick-release positive control is required. Just slip the 8" long shank into a 3/4" hole in the bench surface, set the large 1" x 1" pad (4-1/4" maximum reach) on the work and give the holdfast a smart rap to set it firmly in place.
