Stanley Sweetheart No. 92 Rabbet Plane

Stanley Sweetheart Rabbet Planes fill the quality gap between budget economy & heirloom handmade, Stanley has brought these high quality hand planes to market. Resurrecting a trademark last used in the 1930s that honored Stanley president William Hart, these planes proudly display the initials SW framed inside a heart shaped border. This Sweetheart logo harkens back to a level of manufacturing craftsmanship hard to find in tools today.

With a more ergonomic look and feel than the original 92, this combo rabbet / chisel plane is made from ductile cast iron and has a sole 5-1/8 long by 3/4 wide. The beefy 1/8 thick A2 cutter is held down by a large cap iron for reduced blade chatter. The top section of the plane can be removed to convert into a chisel plane. Brass knobs add elegant accents to these tools.
