Steel City 4-Sided Carbide Cutters for Helical Jointer Cutterheads, pack of 10

The helical cutterhead for Steel City's 8" jointer uses 16 of these individual carbide cutters. The 6" helical jointer uses 12. Each cutter has 4 sharpened edges, and can be rotated to expose a fresh sharp edge until all 4 have become dull. If one cutter becomes nicked as a result of striking embedded metal, just that cutter needs to be replaced to eliminate the ridge that the nick causes on the workpiece.

Steel City planers with serial numbers starting SM(not SM2) use these cutters(except the 40200H planer) and jointers with serial numbers starting L (not L2) use these cutters.

Steel City planers with serial numbers starting SM2 and jointers with serial numbers starting L2 use the 40930 cutters.
