Detailed Description
This new Steel City 6" Jointer features has quick change knives for ease of replacement and efficient operation. Powerful 1-1/2 HP 115V/230V TEFC motor handles tough jobs with ease. Cutterhead speed 5000 RPM. Max depth of cut 1/2". Rabbeting capacity 1/2".
A Steel City exclusive, the Steel City jointer's oversized (68" long) solid granite beds offer unsurpassed accuracy. They will never twist or warp, and will not rust or corrode. Oversized center mounted granite fence provides maximum support throughout the entire cut. Fence tilts in and out for bevel or chamfering operations.
Conveniently Positioned Safety Paddle Switch is placed high above the table, in full operator view for greater visibility and quick access. The Steel City jointer's conveniently located 4" Dust Port provides highly efficient dust collection. An integral mobile base built into the stand allows excellent maneuverability and total portability without added expense. Total weight is 320 lbs.
