Timber Jack

This hard-to-find tool is used to lift logs for crosscutting without letting your chainsaw hit the dirt. With the T-shaped jack stand removed, the tool becomes a traditional cant hook for rolling felled logs for limbing. A very stout 42" hickory handle provides plenty of leverage and strength, and a heavy forged iron hook grapples logs up to 12" in diameter. Green wood turners find a log jack nearly indispensable, and tree fellers likewise find that a cant hook is the best way to handle heavy logs safely and easily.
