Tormek TNT-808 Woodturner's Kit
The Tormek Woodturner's Kit TNT-808 includes the accessories you need to shape and sharpen all your turning tools. The jigs come packed in an TNT-00 Storage Tray . This sturdy foam organizer comes in TC-800 Case and is also designed to fit in the drawers of the Tormek TS-740 Sharpening Station.
Tormek Woodturner's Kit Includes:
Gouge Jig
Used to sharpen your woodturning gouges to a razor sharp edge with full control. You get an exact replication of both the shape and edge angle. You can also use it for woodcarving tools, such as curved gouges and V-tools. Used correctly, there is no alternative method that can give you faster or sharper results.
Multi Tool Jig
The SVS-50 is used for sharpening spindle roughing gouges; beading & parting tools for woodturning; carving tools and skews (for turning or carving.) It adjusts for and skew angle and can sharpen a radiused skew.
Turning Tool Setter
Tormek's tool setter works with their SVD-186 Universal Gouge Jig and their SVS-50 Multi Tool Jig so you can predictably and repeatably resharpen bowl gouges, spindle gouges, oval skews and flat skews. Put the same fingernail grind on your bowl or detail gouge each time you sharpen, no matter the diameter of the stone.
Tool Rest
The Tormek Tool Rest is a basic platform that locks at any angle; it works well for scrapers, hollowing tools, bark spuds, ice tools or anything else too uncommon to have a jig of its own.
Profiled Leather Honing Wheel
For honing and polishing the flute on gouges. With two exchangeable profiles. One with a 3 mm (1/8") radius and one with a 60° point.
Machine cover
The dust cover protects your Tormek from shavings and wood dust when you're not using it. Fits all Tormek Sharpening machines.
