These angle measuring devices drastically simplify measuring and cutting trim, whether it's flat miters, compound miters, crown moldings, or even crowns for complicated spaces like cathedral ceilings or hexagonal bays! Two flat, flexible plastic legs can be locked in any position with the knurled brass thumbscrew; angles are easily read to less than a degree on the cursor and scale at the junction of the legs. For another level of precision (or for those whose eyes aren't as young as they once were), an attachable dial makes fine readings much easier. The flatness of the legs makes it easy to lay the True Angle flat on any surface to take a measurement and then set it on a saw table for direct settings; it also makes the True Angle highly portable: the 7 inch version will fit in an apron or even shirt pocket.
