Hands-On Workshop
Bench planes, block planes and specialty planes will be discussed, dissected and demonstrated. You'll learn how to use planes for joinery, stock dimensioning, shaping and finishing. You'll also learn practical ways to true the soles, customize the handles, improve the bodies and generally make your planes better than new. Bring a joiner plane if you own one, or any old or unusual planes to admire. Loaner planes will be available for those not yet equipped. Sharp edges are essential for effective and enjoyable planing, please bring your irons sharp, or take a sharpening class in advance so you can get the most from this class.

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY
Highland Woodworking reserves the right to cancel any class. Full refunds will be issued in that event. Students withdrawing from a class must notify Highland Woodworking 10 or more days prior to the beginning of the class to receive full credit or refund. No refund or credit will be issued with less than 10 days' notice.
