Veritas Surface Vise

The Veritas Surface Vise is a valuable addition to any shop. It adds functionality to even the simplest of benches. It can perform the functions of a quick release tail vise, but has the portability of a bench dog. The post mount in the same 3/4 holes that fit the Veritas brass bench dogs and our aluminum bench dogs.

The front post locks in place using a wedge mechanism that can be tightened from the top or bottom(with a through dog hole.) The rear post seats into holes at least 2 deep and allows for quick adjustment of the clamping screw. The front jaw attaches with a rare earth magnet and can accept a custom jaw (attached with tow screws.
