Amana Ultra-Glide High Performance Ball Bearing - Curved

Bearing Guides are used to guide the cut on most round over router bits. These specialized bearings allow you to make a full bull nose using only a round over bit. After cutting the first edge, replace the standard bearing on your round over bit with this bearing and make the second pass. The curved bearing will guide on the already cut surface and keep the bit aligned so it will create a clean bull nose profile without a line in the middle. Match the curve radius of the bearing to the radius of your round over bit.

Using the same quality standards as Amana's regular steel bearings, these Ultra-Glide bearing assemblies feature satin-smooth Delrin sleeves. Delrin is an industrial synthetic plastic material similar to nylon, and will leave no marks on the material being cut. Applications include solid-surface materials such as Gibraltar® Corian®, Surell® & Fountainhead®. etc.; Plexiglas® & other clear acrylics; and plastic laminates. Recommended for limited use in regular wood applications due to a higher wear factor.
