You don't have to be into hard core retro woodworking to appreciate these hand powered augers - Gimlet Tools are handy in any shop. Gimlets are lifesavers when you need to bore holes in hard-to-reach spots, to carefully sneak up on the proper depth, or to bore pilot holes for very short screws. The threaded tip pulls the gimlet along while the auger body pulls chips out. The 7 auger gimlets have diameters that measure approximately at 5/64", 3/32", 1/8", 9/64", 5/32", 11/64" & 3/16" (approximately 2mm to 5mm). They'll pilot drill for #2-9 screws. Black finish tempered steel.
