Rikon 10 inch Bandsaw 10-305

Rikon's 10 inch Bandsaw is compact and well-made. It is an excellent starter band saw for those on a budget and useful to owners of larger bandsaws too. We wondered if this saw could handle some heavy duty cutting like resawing, so we installed one of our 1/2 inch Wood Slicers on the demo Rikon 10 inch Bandsaw in our showroom the day after our first shipment was delivered. After squaring up a piece of 4x4 poplar, we were able to resaw full-length slices from it that were uniformly 1/64 inch thick along the entire length. That convinced us this small band saw can perform precision work despite its low price tag.
