Detailed Description
Collins Plywood Prep Router Bit
If you've ever glued moldings or face frames to a plywood edge, then you've experienced the annoying glue line that results from the swelling veneers.
This bit hollows the edge of plywood, so there's room for the core to expand when the glue hits it. Now, you won't have 75 clamps hanging off the
job making it impossible to move.
A center mark on the bit lines it up with the middle veneer for prefect positioning. To prevent snipe, use the bit with a stepped fence on either your
router's fence or your router table. Whiteside makes the bit for Collins, so you know its good. Works on plywood from 23/32" to 1"
thick.
Available with a 1/2" or 1/4" shank.
