Class Description

There is one way to accurately color wood with no knowledge or practice. Take a can of any dark colored paint, and generously slather it over every surface of your project. If you are interested in taking a more refined and professional approach to it, then read on!

In this class, Alan will cover the different types of dyes and stains, what distinguishes one from the other, application techniques and some rather surprising secrets that will greatly enhance your understanding of the coloring process. From color selection to mixing and application, you will come away with a foundation to build upon as you explore and develop the coloring methods you like in your shop.

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY

Highland Woodworking reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any class for any reason. In the unlikely event that a class has to be canceled full refunds will be issued to all registered students. In the unlikely event that a class has to be rescheduled, registered students will be given the option to take the class on the new date or receive a full refund.

Students withdrawing from a class must notify Highland Woodworking 14 or more days prior to the beginning of the class to receive full credit or refund. No refund or credit will be issued with less than a 14 day notice.
