Detailed Description
ECE Hornbeam Rabbet Plane with Adjustable Mouth ECE hand planes combine Emmerich's meticulous quality with the economy of traditional hammer-set irons secured with wooden wedges. Heavy irons are solidly bedded for smooth, clean performance. As in all Emmerich planes, the workmanship is simply outstanding. This ECE gem is a fine value. The beech body is 270mm (10-5/8") long by 30mm (1-3/16"). The 30mm (1-3/16") iron includes a chipbreaker and is bedded at 50° for clean cutting with or across the grain. The mouth is adjustable for both heavy and light cuts.
