Festool 5mm Spear Point Dowel Drill Router Bit - 8mm shank

This down-cut spiral router bit is designed to make very clean plunge cuts for through shelf pin holes. It has a spear point tip to minimize tearout on both sides of the workpiece.

If you need a bit to make stopped(standard) shelf pin holes, we recommend the Brad Point version of this bit.

Festool makes this bit for use with their LR 32 Shelf Drilling System, but it can be used with any jig and in any router that can hold an 8mm shank bit.

If your router doesn't have an 8mm collet, we offer a 1/2" to 8mm adapter sleeve.
