Detailed Description
Festool RTSC 400 Li Cordless Orbital Sander
The RTSC 400 Li is the cordless version of Festool's RTS 400 REQ Sander.
It offers the same light weight and fine finish, but without the cord (sometimes!). It's great for sanding on vertical surfaces
or over your head. The dust collection is still excellent — using the included LongLife dust bag or by attaching it to
your Festool Dust Extractor.
The most amazing part about the RTSC 400 is that it can be used cordless or corded. In its standard cordless configuration,
it will run for about 30 minutes. If you still have more sanding, you can swap out the battery OR plug in the
AC adapter (sold separately) in place of the battery, plug it into the wall and
continue sanding.
Sander Packages
The RTSC 400 is available with a battery and charger for standard cordless operation (The PLUS package). It's also available
without batteries or adapters (The BASIC Package). See the details below.
Please Note: Festool's cordless sanders use the ERGO style battery, which is different from the batteries used on other Festool
cordless tools — that drill battery won't work.
