Festool SurFix Oil

SurFix oils impart a lustrous, hand rubbed final finish that can be achieved in less time than traditional methods for two reasons: 1.) the application system incorporates power buffing and 2.) the nature of the oils themselves. These organic oils are fortified with wax and offer the consistency and workability of linseed oil. They are natural oils without the familiar odor of other penetrating oils. The formulation lends itself to power manipulation much better than other options such as tung oil, boiled linseed oil(BLO) or other polymerized oils. All can also be used without the SurFix system.

SurFix Oils come in three formulations that suit the majority of finished surface requirements.

• One-Step General Purpose Oil is a light duty oil for general purpose use on interior items that don’t see much abuse. This is a preferred option for indoor surfaces including furniture, shelving and cabinets, among others. SurFix One Step oils and waxes simultaneously with excellent polishing properties.
• Heavy-Duty Oil is the best solution for surfaces requiring more durability, especially for higher-traffic indoor surfaces such as dining tables, work surfaces, and stairs, among others. This oil penetrates and protects against premature wear and damage.
• Outdoor Oil is an excellent choice for outdoor applications such as garden furniture, pergolas or even decking. Outdoor Oil protects against the elements with natural ingredients that guards against fungal growth and UV damage.

• Applicator Kit – contains a 0.3 liter Festool SurFix Finish Applicator and replaceable sponge
• Refill Bulbs — contains two 0.3 liter refill bulb for use with the Festool SurFix Finish Applicator
• 5 Liter refill — contains one 5-Liter bottle with easy pour spout for use with the Festool SurFix Finish Applicator and for refilling of the 0.3 liter bulbs
