Festool Vlies Abrasive Pad
Festool's Vlies (pronounced “fleece”) is a non-woven abrasive pad. It's synthetic mesh pad with Silicon Carbide or Aluminum Oxide grit spread throughout the structure. It has a flexible,
open structure that works well for sanding curved surfaces and clearing the sanding dust that results. (You're probably familiar with 3M Scotch-Brite™. Well, Vlies is similar.)
Vlies pads are 115mm by 150mm (4-1/2" by 6"). 100 grit pads come 25 to a box. 320 grit pads come 30 to a box.
Vlies is also available to fit many Festool power sanders.
