The 8" File Cleaner has small steel bristles for cleaning the debris, dirt and corrosion from between the teeth of a file. It should be used in smooth strokes across the teeth of the file. The wooden handle is a little over 8" long and the brush is about 1-1/4" by 3-7/8". The steel bristles should not be used for cleaning high quality rasps.

The 10" File Cleaner & Brush is similar to the file cleaner, but adds a stiff bristle brush on the back. The brush is used for cleaning fine files and rasps. The wooden handle is a little over 10" long. The metal brush is about 1-1/4" by 4-1/2". The bristle brush is about 1-1/2" by 5-1/4".
