Fisch Kurvenlinfix Flexible Routing Guide

The Fisch Kurvenlinfix is a great tool with a really awkward name. Roughly translated from the German, it means curve line stop - which is still awkward in English. Once you use it, you'll appreciate how great it is and where the name comes from.

The Kurvenlinfix is a flexible, reusable template for routing curves. Lay out the curve you want to cut on your workpiece and attach the Kurvenlinfix directly on the line. It mounts in place with screws so it definitely won't move. Then, you can rout using a bit with a bearing. As with all template routing jobs, you'll need to rough out the shape with a jigsaw or bandsaw first.

The Kurvenlinfix can also be used in any situation where you would normally use a template. You can rout using a straight bit with a template guide instead of a bearing guided bit, but you'll have to account for the offset in the placement of the Kurvenlinfix. You can also use the Kurvenlinfix on a shaper using a rub collar. You can even use it with a guided drum sander like our Robo Sander Flush Trim Sanding Drums.

The Kurvenlinfix is 18mm x 18mm (~11/16") and can be set up for a curves as small as 100mm (~3-15/16") radius. Profile size does not include the screw mounting tabs, which are placed every 45mm (~1-3/4"). The guide is 1 meter (39-3/8") long.

Each Kurvenlinfix comes complete with screws for mounting.
