Heirloom Timeline Growth Rule

Many parents record the growth of their children with marks on a wall. The heirloom growth rule is a more elegant and beautiful way do that, plus you can take it with if you ever move. Each rule is manufactured from a single piece of sugar maple 3-1/2" wide by 78" long. The ends of the rule are protected by solid brass inlaid end caps. All graduations and markings are engraved, then hand-filled with black pigment - not printed on the surface. The whole ruler is protected by a tough clear coat finish to insure a long life.

The front of the rule is graduated from 4" to 78" (6' 6") in 1/8ths of an inch. Graduations take up about 1-1/8" of the width so there's a good 2-3/8" for you to make your marks. The back of the rule is un-graduated.

The heirloom timeline rule is made in Maine by Skowhegan Wooden Rule, the same company that makes our Wooden Bench Rules. Their history of quality rule making extends back to 1869.
