Highland Woodworking Router Bits for Leigh Dovetail Jigs
Our bits are made specifically to work with the Leigh Dovetail jigs. They are made to the same specifications as Leigh's bits. We have found them to be well-balanced, smooth-running bits that do their job without fuss. The degree of finish is impressive: brazes are clean, and the C2 carbide tips are polished to 600 grit. We guarantee that you'll be completely satisfied.
The thickness of the jig template requires a longer shank. Therefore, we recommend using the 8mm shank bits over the 1/4" shank bits because the increased shank diameter offers 60% more shaft strength.
