Hock Chipbreaker Screw

This knurled-edge screw with a slotted head is to attach bench plane blades to Hock chipbreakers (also called cap irons). This screw only works with Hock chipbreakers. It is not compatible with other chipbreakers.

Selecting the Length

• The 1/4" long screw is used with Hock plane irons & chipbreakers for Stanley-type metal bodied planes (Stanley, Record, etc.)
• The 5/16" long screw is used with Hock plane irons for Krenov-style wooden bodied planes.
