Japanese Iyoroi Mortise Chisels are very stout tools, durable enough for the heaviest use. Steel ferrules at butt and bolster keep the red oak handle intact under driving blows from steel hammer or wooden mallet. Laminated white steel blade and hollow-ground back are similar to those of the cabinetmaker's chisels. Length is 9-3/4". Set of five includes 3mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12mm and 15mm chisels.
