Detailed Description
Leigh B975 Box Joint and Beehive Jig
Leigh's B975 Box Joint and Beehive Jig offers a simple way to quickly make perfect 1/2-inch and 3/4-inch box joints (also called finger joints) using either a handheld router or a router mounted
in a router table.
The jig is excellent for making boxes, drawers and benches. A particularly novel use of the jig is to build a sturdy wooden beehive in any of several sizes.
The B975 Box Joint Jig works on boards up to 13/16" thick, and from 2" to 17-3/4" wide.
Using the Leigh B975 jig is quite easy. You simply guide the router around the 1/2" or 3/4" combs to create perfect box joints. A thorough user guide and detailed
instructional DVD is included to help get you started.
Router Table Requirements
Router tables typically use a bearing or fence to guide the cut. However in the case of the Leigh B975 jig used in a router table, an included guide bushing guides the cut,
so you will need to have a 1-3/8" diameter counter bore insert ring that fits in your table or router plate in order to mount the guide bushing.
