Detailed Description

Leigh Surface Hold Down Clamp

These Leigh Bench hold down clamps use the same cam-action technology developed for the clamps found on Leigh's legendary dovetail jigs. With a thickness capacity of 0"-3" and throat depth of 2-3/4", youll find these clamps useful for bench work, drill press hold downs and a wide array of jig applications. Tough, glass-filled nylon cam-action clamp handles are easy on the hands and lock with a quick 90 deg. action. Rugged, aluminum alloy clamping leg is rigid & strong and has non-marring pads on the toe and heel.
The Surface style clamp flush-mounts to your bench or other flat surface using the included anchor plate (2 included -additional anchors sold in 4 packs). Use a forstner bit to drill a 1-1/2" x 5/16" deep hole in your bench top or other surface, screw in the anchor plate and its ready to accept the clamp. A sliding keyway in the anchor lets you quickly install or remove the clamp as needed. Surface clamps will also secure into large sized T-track (for 3/8" hex head bolts).
