Lewin's simple, effective router jig cleanly cuts perfect circles in any dimension from 8" to 48" in diameter. Use any router from a laminate trimmer to the heaviest production tool; just use your router's sub-base as a pattern for drilling countersunk screw holes in the base of the jig. The compass's 3/32" pivot pin is just 3/16" long; it's designed to be pressed into a shallow hole drilled in the work or into a piece of scrap 1/4" material fixed on top of the workpiece. You can position and lock the pin anywhere along the jig's length, which has a clearly printed measuring scale in 16ths for easy set-up.
