Interested in carving spoons, but don't have many tools? This blank will eliminate the need for a saw or axe and you can to dive in with only a few tools - like a gouge, hook knife and straight knife. It's similar to the blank included with our Narex Sppon Carving starter Kit, but a little less refined.

European Lime Wood (otherwise known as Linden or common Lime) is a light. smooth texture wood that is easily workable. It's a relative of American Basswood and has similar properties. The blanks are approximately 255mm long x 55mm wide x 30mm thick (10-1/6" x 2-3/16" x 1-3/16") and rough cut in the outline of a spoon.
