Traditional school pencils perform poorly for woodworking. The pencils and their lead snap too easily in use. After Lost Art Press tested many different combinations of lead (called the "core") and diameters, this pencil became the favorite. It is robust because of its diameter and the fact that it is round. It leaves a good dark mark and sharpens easily. The five pencils come in a neatly fitted box

Note: The Lost Art Press Woodworking Pencils do not have erasers.
