Mirka's CEROS & DEROS Random Orbit Sanders use hook and loop pads (referred to by Mirka as "Grip") with threaded stud mounts. (5/16"-18 for 5" & 6" Mirka sanders. 1/4"-20 for 3" Mirka sanders.)

Since Mirka's pads are optimized to work with Mirka's outstanding Abranet Mesh abrasives, they have more holes than ordinary pads. Abranet sandpaper allows dust to pass through anywhere on the sanding disc, thus letting the dust flow freely and keeping the sanding discs and pads cool. This helps prevent dust buildup and abrasive clogging.

Each 5" & 6" standard pad comes with one pad protector. Soft pads do not include pad protectors.

If you use standard hook and loop sanding discs, the 5 inch pad will match discs with a standard 8-hole pattern. The 6 inch pad will match discs with a standard 6-hole pattern.
