Extra Bond is designed to improve the adhesion of Old-Fashioned Milk Paint to surfaces that have an existing finish (anything other than bare wood). For your first application of Milk Paint, add the Extra Bond into the mixed up Milk Paint at a ratio of two parts paint to one part Extra Bond. No need to add the Extra bond to subsequent coats of the paint.
