Primus Smooth Plane
The ECE Primus Smooth Plane is a great finish plane, capable of producing very fine shavings and a smooth, flat surface. The plane body is 8-5/8" long. Iron width is 1-7/8".
Primus hand planes manufactured by E.C. Emmerich of Germany have bodies made of hornbeam with lignum vitae soles. An all-steel mechanism adjusts position and tension on the cutter.
